When we choose our rides, we make sure they are a good mix between the sport/fun, the outdoors and the social outing as well as to fulfill our cultural interest. We know, from previous experience, that an important component of any bike ride is to get acquainted and make friends with the local residents; they are always welcoming, generous, and funny - unforgettable. On each ride, we also try to connect with our roots and our history by making sure we stop and visit a certain important archeological site.
The rides mentioned here are only samples. Our bicycles have taken us to every part of Jordan, from Umm Qais to Aqaba and Azraq. We hope to get to know each other better so we can show you all the fascinating secrets of Jordan.
Our Summer location and an excellent ride for all levels. We do several flat routes, a mix between on/off road in this area near Madaba, so one can choose the distance they are comfortable doing. We ride around farms and wheat fields and we also ride to Mount Nebo to look at the magnificent view of the valley and the western mountains. Other longer rides include a ride to Umm Rasas, home to the finest mosaics in Jordan. The people around here are very friendly, as always, and we always stop for the local chats and of course, the usual sugar-loaded-teas! back to top |

Our winter retreat where the climate is conveniently mild even in the coldest of months. Here, we ride on partly broken roads and farm roads between citrus, banana trees and lush farms. Our private farm serves as a good base for most of our rides. This area has been our very popular ride for so many people. On some weeks, we do a “hike & bike” adventures on the mountains on the side of the Dead Sea. back to top |

This area is 40 or so kilometers south of the airport. Dab’a literally means Hyena, the striped hyena which was popular here. Today, we have not seen many of them alive but you can witness the dramatic rock formations, gorges, river beds and hideouts of the beast! It is a ’special’ ride, more so, when you meet our friend Abu Suleiman who always insists on offering breakfast and tea in his tent - wonderful people. back to top |

Further south, about 70 K from Amman. This ride takes you on well-packed desert tracks from the main desert highway to view the Wadi Mujib (probably the most spectacular scene in all of Jordan.) Qatraneh also has some very famous Roman castles, the Bshir group of palaces, which stand as elegantly as always in the middle of the desert. Hundreds of Bedouins, their families and their sheep take to this area in the winter for shelter and water – they are always friendly. back to top |

Very close to Amman stands as majestically as always the best and finest pine forest in all of Jordan. This ride goes through an intact and wild forest. It is considered challenging though, where some technical maneuvering skills and strong arms & legs are needed. We circle the whole mountain and the whole forest - and we love it! back to top |

Ride as fast as 75 km/hour when you descend from mount Nebo to the Dead Sea. Take the bus back up! Or enjoy a swim in the Dead Sea. Sometimes, we ride form Madaba down Mount Nebo and continue to South Shuna, a very unique ride which reminds me of my two good friends Monica and Steve. back to top |

Butum is the name of the tree and the hundreds of them scattered here along this wadi are as old as a thousand years. This was the famous hunting grounds during the Umayyad dynasty when wild lions and cheetahs roamed. This wadi is truly unique and makes for one of the best cycling adventures in Jordan. On the southern end of the valley is the most famous desert palace and Umayyad baths of Qasr Amra, a UNESCO heritage site and one of the wonders of the area back to top |
